10:39 AM EST, 02/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chimera Investment ( CIM/PA ) said Monday it sponsored CIM 2025-I1 on Friday to issue securities of roughly $275.7 million to institutional investors in a private placement.

CIM 2025-I1 is a $287.7 million securitization of residential mortgage investor loans, the company added.

Chimera said it maintained subordinate interests in securities with a total balance of about $11.9 million.

The company's stock was slightly lower in recent Monday trading.
