China Automotive Systems Closes Redomiciliation Merger

05:37 PM EDT, 09/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- China Automotive Systems ( CAAS ) said late Thursday it closed a merger to redomicile the company as a Cayman Islands firm.

Under the redomiciliation, each common share was converted into the right to receive a common share of the company incorporated under Cayman Islands laws, according to a statement.

Common shares of China Automotive Systems Cayman will be listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker "CAAS," the company said.
