China June car sales rise 18.6% y/y

BEIJING, July 8 (Reuters) - China's car sales in June

grew 18.6% from a year earlier, extending gains for a fifth

straight month, data from the China Passenger Car Association

showed on Tuesday.

Sales totalled 2.1 million vehicles last month and were up

11.2% to 11.1 million units in the first half of 2025.
