China plans to start re-capitalizing banks with at least $55 billion, Bloomberg News reports

Feb 26 (Reuters) - China plans to inject at least 400

billion yuan ($55.13 billion) into the first batch of banks

including Agricultural Bank of China and Bank of

Communications, as it plans to start re-capitalizing

several of its biggest banks in coming months, Bloomberg News

reported on Wednesday.

($1 = 7.2555 Chinese yuan)
