China to Reduce Import of Hollywood Films Amid Escalating US Trade War

07:37 AM EDT, 04/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- China will lower the number of US films allowed to enter the Asian country in response to the escalated tariffs imposed on Beijing by the Trump administration, China's National Film Administration said Thursday.

China will introduce films from other countries in order to meet market demand, the agency said.
