BEIJING, June 12 (Reuters) - The China Association of
Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) deeply regrets and does not
accept the European Commission's decision to impose tariffs on
Chinese electric vehicles.
In comments quoted by state media CCTV the CAAM accused the
European Commission of predetermining the results of its
investigation and abusing its investigative powers.
It said it hopes the EU Commission will not take current and
periodical auto trade issues as a "long-term threat" and will
avoid damaging and distorting the sector's global supply chains.
