China's EV maker BYD launches first model with lidar sensor

BEIJING (Reuters) - China's electric vehicle (EV) giant BYD on Thursday launched a new version of its Seal EV, the company's first model equipped with lidar sensors.

The 2025 version of Seal will sell for prices starting at 175,800 yuan ($24,515.41), BYD said on its social media account.
