BEIJING, March 23 (Reuters) - China's Commerce Minister

Wang Wentao met with heads of German companies Volkswagen Group

and Bosch on Sunday to discuss opportunities and challenges in

economic and trade relations between China and the European

Union.

Wang emphasised the need to "properly resolve trade

frictions through dialogue and consultation during the talks,

the ministry said in a statement.
