Sep 10, 2025 5:19 AM

07:50 AM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chipotle Mexican Grill's ( CMG ) Cultivate Next venture fund has participated in a $50 million series B funding round for Nitricity, the climate-tech startup said Wednesday.

The round was co-led by new investor European venture capital fund World Fund and returning investor Khosla Ventures, with Change Forces, Susquehanna Sustainable Investments, EIP, and Fine Structure Ventures also participating, Nitricity said.

The firm intends to use the proceeds to scale its clean technology across the US and into Europe, among other things, it said.

The company's organic fertilizer facility in Delhi, California, is slated for operation next year. Nitricity said the plant's full production capacity is already sold out through 2028 under binding offtake deals with local organic growers.
