10:23 AM EST, 11/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Choice Hotels International ( CHH ) said Monday it has signed two new contracts under the reintroduced Supporting Ownership Access and Representation program aimed at increasing hotel ownership opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs.

Walter Barela and Brain Resendez of Peak Hospitality executed a contract to open a WoodSpring Suites in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Construction of the 82-room hotel is scheduled to begin next year.

Choice Hotels ( CHH ) said Ben Rohlfing, Amanda Rohlfing, and Bob Schultz executed a conversion contract for a Rodeway Inn in Effingham, Illinois.
