04:46 PM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chorus Aviation ( CHRRF ) after trade Monday said it agreed to acquire Elisen & Associates, a Montreal-based aerospace engineering and certification service provider.

Elisen's previous projects include development work on the Airbus A220, Bell helicopters, and Bombardier's (BBD-B.TO) Gulfstream and Lear special mission aircraft, according to the statement.

Elisen's founders, Stephane Durand and Taif Rahman, and others will continue to lead the company after the deal closes, Chorus added.

The transaction is set to complete before year end, subject to certain regulatory and other customary conditions. The deal will be funded using available cash and is not expected to have a material impact on Chorus' consolidated revenue, earnings or balance sheet, the company said.

Other financial details of the acquisition were not given.

Chorus shares closed down $0.04 to $22.28 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
