06:41 AM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chunghwa Telecom ( CHT ) reported Q1 earnings Thursday of 1.21 New Taiwanese dollars (about $0.04) per diluted share, down from NT$1.24 a year earlier.

Four analysts polled by Capital IQ expected NT$1.24.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was NT$54.94 billion, up from NT$54.21 billion a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected NT$55.63 billion.
