06:03 AM EDT, 09/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CI Financial ( CIXXF ) overnight Wednesday varied the terms of its substantial issuer bid, increasing the price per share to $18.25 from $17.50.

The total value of the bid increases to $91.3 million from $87.5 million. CI Financial ( CIXXF ) has offered to purchase up to 5 million of its common shares from shareholders.

The offer expires on October 3.
