08:28 AM EDT, 04/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CI Financial ( CIXXF ) on Monday reported preliminary total assets of $474.2 billion as at March 31, jumping 19% from a year ago and rising 1.8% from the previous month.

Canadian wealth management assets totaled $93.7 billion, up 14.9% YoY and 2.0% higher than in February. Canadian custody assets surged 225.7% YoY and increased 3.4% month over month to $28.0 billion.

CI posted $222.3 billion in US wealth management assets, climbing 19% YoY and 1.6% from the previous month.

CI's share price rose 2% on Friday to $16.55.
