CIBC Files $20 Billion Mixed Securities Shelf

02:36 PM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CIBC (CM) filed a registration statement Tuesday for the potential sale of up to $20 billion of its securities from time to time.

The filing covers the sale of the company's senior debt securities, subordinated debt securities, common shares and class A preferred shares.

The lender said it will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

Shares of the bank were up 0.5% in recent trading.
