11:29 AM EDT, 08/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cibus ( CBUS ) said Wednesday that Wade King will step down as chief financial officer and take an indefinite leave of absence, effective Sept. 30, citing family reasons.
The company plans to appoint Senior Vice President of Finance Carlo Broos as interim CFO, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Upon King's return from his leave of absence, Cibus ( CBUS ) expects him to take on a newly created chief risk officer role, it said.
The company's shares were down 3.6% in recent trading.
