10:36 AM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cibus ( CBUS ) said Tuesday that initial data from the field tests of its pod shatter reduction trait in the UK showed "promising results" and support the company's commercial development of the trait in winter oilseed rape.

The results have enabled a second season of trials that are now underway, Cibus ( CBUS ) Senior Vice President of Product Development Jim Radtke said.

Shares were over 1% higher in recent trading.
