07:43 AM EST, 11/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cigna Group ( CI ) said Monday it is not pursuing a combination with Humana (HUM), and expects to communicate that to investors and analysts in meetings over the next several weeks.

"The Cigna Group ( CI ) remains committed to its established M&A criteria and would only consider acquisitions that are strategically aligned, financially attractive, and have a high probability to close," the company said.

Humana did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
