07:56 AM EDT, 08/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cineplex ( CPXGF ) on Friday said the Toronto Stock Exchange has accepted its notice to renew its share buyback program.

The company may buy back up to 6.3 million shares over the 12 months beginning Aug. 26.

Under its previous normal course issued bid, which terminates on Aug. 25, Cineplex ( CPXGF ) purchased 620,275 shares at a weighted-average price of $10.48 per share.
