Cintas Guides Fiscal 2025 Revenue, EPS Growth as Fourth-Quarter Results Rise
Jul 18, 2024 12:06 PM

02:43 PM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cintas ( CTAS ) on Thursday predicted ongoing revenue and earnings momentum in the current fiscal year after reporting annual gains in fiscal fourth-quarter results.

The uniform supplier is guiding revenue between $10.16 billion and $10.31 billion for fiscal 2025, implying an increase from the $9.60 billion Cintas ( CTAS ) posted for its year ended May 31. Analysts on average are modeling for revenue of $10.27 billion in the ongoing year, according to a Capital IQ survey.

The company is forecasting full-year earnings per share in the $16.25 to $16.75 range, compared with $15.15 reported for fiscal 2024. The market view is for GAAP EPS of $16.42. Shares of Cintas ( CTAS ) jumped 6.4% in afternoon trade.

"As we move into fiscal (2025), we expect to exceed $10 billion in annual revenue for the first time," Chief Executive Todd Schneider told analysts on a conference call, according to a Capital IQ transcript. "This outlook, coupled with our strong fiscal (2024) results, demonstrate that our value proposition continues to resonate."

For the fiscal fourth quarter, Cintas' ( CTAS ) revenue rose to $2.47 billion from $2.28 billion, in line with the Capital IQ-polled consensus. EPS advanced to $3.99 from $3.33 year over year and topped the $3.80 GAAP Street view.

"Strong growth from new customers and the penetration of existing customers with more products and services helped generate great operating leverage, aided by the performance of our global supply chain and focused efforts to extract inefficiencies from the business," Chief Financial Officer J. Michael Hansen said on the call.

Uniform rental and facility services revenue increased to $1.91 billion from $1.77 billion year over year while gross margin for the business improved 90 basis points to 48.6%, according to Hansen.

First aid and safety services revenue rose to $277.6 million from $249.8 million the year earlier, he said.
