Cipher Mining Names Greg Mumford CFO as Ed Farrell Retires

04:55 PM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cipher Mining ( CIFR ) said late Monday it has appointed Greg Mumford as chief financial officer, succeeding Ed Farrell, who will retire.

Farrell will become senior adviser to support the transition and provide strategic guidance, the company said.

The changes are effective Oct. 14.

Mumford was most recently a senior banker in the Digital Assets & Infrastructure Investment Banking group at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Cipher said.
