The company applied to trade its shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "CRCL."
No date or price range for the IPO has yet been determined.
In the filing, the company reported 2024 net income of $155.7 million, down from $267.6 million a year earlier.
Revenue and reserve income for the year ended Dec. 31 was $1.68 billion, up from $1.45 billion a year earlier.
