05:08 PM EDT, 08/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cirrus Logic ( CRUS ) expanded its partnership with GlobalFoundries ( GFS ) to support the development of advanced semiconductor technologies.

The companies will work together on Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS process technology, which helps combine multiple functions on one chip to improve power efficiency and reduce size.

BCD chips will be manufactured at GlobalFoundries' ( GFS ) Malta, New York, facility, adding a US-based production option alongside existing sites in Singapore and Germany, Cirrus Logic ( CRUS ) said Tuesday in a statement.

The companies also plan to develop Gallium Nitride technology at GlobalFoundries' ( GFS ) Essex Junction, Vermont, facility for power management in consumer and industrial applications.
