May 30 (Reuters) - Citadel Securities has named former
Goldman Sachs executive Jim Esposito as its new
president, a spokesperson for the market maker said on Thursday.
Esposito will be based in Miami and will report to CEO Peng
Zhao when he assumes his role in September.
A nearly three-decade veteran at Goldman, Esposito was most
recently the co-head of the global banking and markets division
at the Wall Street titan. In January, he announced his plans to
retire from the bank.
"Jim was a terrific leader at Goldman throughout his career.
We all wish him well and look forward to new opportunities to
work together," a spokesperson for Goldman said.
