09:22 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Citigroup ( C ) said Monday it has concluded the "major actions" related to its organizational restructuring plan announced in September to align with a simplified operating model.

"While these decisions were not made easily, they have allowed us to strengthen how we run the bank and serve clients through enhanced connectivity and accountability," the company said on its website.

The largest round of staffing moves, including reassignments and departures, will be shared with employees from Monday to Thursday, Reuters reported, citing an internal memo from the company's Chief Executive Jane Fraser.

Citigroup ( C ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
