Citigroup Kicks off Redemption of $2.75 Billion of 2025 Notes

05:18 AM EDT, 04/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Citigroup ( C ) said late Tuesday that it is redeeming, in whole, $2.75 billion of 3.352% fixed rate/floating rate notes due 2025.

The lender said the move is consistent with its liability management strategy and reflects ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency of its funding and capital structure.

The cash redemption price will equal par plus accrued and unpaid interest.

The redemption date for the notes is April 24.
