12:51 PM EDT, 03/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Citigroup ( C ) hired Richard Weintraub from UBS (UBS) to lead its wealth management group, specialized in serving family offices across the Americas, according to media reports Wednesday.

Weintraub will join Citigroup ( C ) in early May and will report to Hannes Hofmann, who leads Citigroup's ( C ) worldwide family office group, Reuters and Bloomberg reported, citing a company memo.

Citigroup ( C ) declined Bloomberg's request for comment, while UBS didn't respond immediately.
