Citigroup Teams Up With Emirates NBD for US Dollar Clearing Service in Middle East

07:17 AM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Citigroup ( C ) and Emirates NBD said Wednesday they are collaborating to launch Citi's 24/7 US dollar clearing service in the Middle East, allowing Emirates clients to make cross-border USD payments anytime.

Emirates NBD will initially offer the service in its UAE and Saudi Arabia branches, the companies said, adding they plan to expand the service to all Emirates NBD branches in the Middle East and globally. Financial details were not provided.
