Citigroup to Slash 3,500 Technology Jobs in China

06:28 AM EDT, 06/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Citigroup ( C ) said Thursday it will cut the number of employees at two of its technology solutions centers in China by roughly 3,500.

The staff reductions at the Shanghai and Dalian centers are expected to be completed by the start of Q4, the lender said.
