11:05 AM EDT, 08/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Clarivate ( CLVT ) appointed Matti Shem Tov as chief executive officer, effective Friday.

He most recently was an operating partner at Lone View Capital and is the former CEO of ProQuest, Clarivate ( CLVT ) said Tuesday. He succeeds Jonathan Gear, who will move to a non-executive role until Nov. 1.

Clarivate's ( CLVT ) shares fell 5.9% in recent Tuesday trading.
