12:11 PM EDT, 03/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Class 1 Nickel and Technologies ( NICLF ) on Wednesday said it hired Geotech Ltd. to carry out airborne geophysical surveys over its River Valley PGE (platinum-group elements) Project near Sudbury, Ontario.

The project covers about 2,916 hectares, within which lies several kilometers of prospective geology and known PGE bearing sulfide mineralization.

"Progressing exploration on the River Valley PGE Project is a significant step forward for the company as we continue to explore for sulphide-hosted PGE-Cu-Ni mineralization in areas of Ontario with excellent infrastructure," said CEO David Fitch.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.01 to $0.19 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
