Clean Energy Fuels Signs new Renewable Natural Gas Contracts With Fleet Operators

07:43 AM EST, 03/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Clean Energy Fuels ( CLNE ) said Wednesday that it has concluded new renewable natural gas, or RNG, fueling infrastructure and supply agreements with trucking, refuse and transit fleets.

The renewable energy firm said that, as part of an extended partnership with Ecology Transportation Services, it will supply 2.1 million gallons of RNG annually to 150 vehicles at its stations across California, Arizona and Nevada.

Clean Energy also said it has signed new agreements with Recology and WM to provide operations and maintenance services for their fueling station sites, including services for more than 85 WM RNG stations across the US and Canada.

The company said it has also been awarded an operations and maintenance contract by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, which covers around five million gallons of fuel to more than 400 buses.

In addition, Clean Energy said it has signed a new agreement with ABM Facility Services to maintain three transit bus fueling stations for the City of Phoenix and was selected by Arlington Transit to provide 750,000 gallons fuel annually to 78 buses in Virginia.

The company also said it has signed a maintenance contract with the City of Scottsdale in Arizona to support 49 refuse vehicles, as well as an RNG supply agreement with the City of Fort Smith in Arkansas.

Clean Energy said it has signed a new agreement to continue operating and maintaining Nashville International Airport's natural gas station, supplying 63 shuttle buses and fleet vehicles with 350,000 gallons of fuel annually.

Financial details of these agreements were not disclosed.

Shares of Clean Energy Fuels ( CLNE ) were up more than 1.8% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
