09:57 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CleanSpark ( CLSK ) said Tuesday that it has purchased two Bitcoin mining sites and associated land near Clinton, Mississippi, and completed the purchase of a second site in Wyoming.

The Mississippi acquisitions cost $5.775 million and will provide 16.5 MW, with completion scheduled for Dec. 1, CleanSpark ( CLSK ) said. The site will house S21 pro miners with a hashrate of 1 exahash per second, or EH/s, expanding the company's Mississippi data-center portfolio to 60.5 MW.

The bitcoin mining company said it has completed the purchase of its 45 MW Wyoming site, which is expected to add 3 EH/s to its hashrate with immersion-cooled data centers supporting S21 immersion XPs.
