01:24 PM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CleanSpark ( CLSK ) said Thursday it executed 75 megawatts of power contracts and closed the acquisition of a bitcoin mining site in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The site, expected to open before the end of 2024, has a 30 MW power capacity and is set to add 2 exahashes to CleanSpark's ( CLSK ) hashrate.

"With the energy contracts now executed, CleanSpark ( CLSK ) is progressing on the close of the underlying real estate of a second site, which will bring an additional 45 MW online in Wyoming, expected to contribute an additional 3 EH/s to the company's hashrate," according to a statment.

Shares of CleanSpark ( CLSK ) fell 5.3% in recent trading Thursday.
