04:58 PM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cleveland-Cliffs ( CLF ) said Monday that Stelco Holdings' ( STZHF ) shareholders approved the indirect acquisition of Stelco ( STZHF ) by Cliffs.

Cliffs said it expects to close the transaction in Q4 and on completion, Stelco ( STZHF ) will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Completion of the transaction is subject to satisfaction or waiver of the remaining conditions in the agreement.
