10:26 AM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cleveland-Cliffs ( CLF ) has received final approvals required to complete its pending acquisition of Stelco ( STZHF ) , the companies said Wednesday.

With regulatory and program approvals under the Investment Canada Act and Strategic Innovation Fund for the acquisition now secured, the companies expect the deal to close Friday, they said.
