06:23 AM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cleveland-Cliffs Inc ( CLF ) said Wednesday that it has received a "no-action letter" from the Canadian Competition Bureau on its proposed acquisition of Stelco Holdings, keeping the transaction on pace for completion in Q4.

The company said it has already received US Department of Justice clearance and financing for the acquisition.
