10:01 AM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cleveland-Cliffs ( CLF ) said Monday that it will repurpose its warehouse in Weirton, West Virginia to produce three-phase electrical distribution transformers.

The company said it plans to invest $150 million, with $50 million coming from a state grant.

The facility is expected to start operations in H1 2026, Cleveland-Cliffs ( CLF ) said.
