Clorox Closes Sale of Former Vitamin, Minerals, Supplements Business
Sep 11, 2024 4:25 AM

05:05 PM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Clorox (CLX) late Tuesday said it has completed the sale of its Better Health line of vitamins, minerals and supplements business to an affiliate of privately held Piping Rock Health Products.

The divested business also included Clorox' former Natural Vitality, NeoCell, Rainbow Light and RenewLife brands as well as relevant trademarks and licenses and the division's manufacturing and distribution facilities in Sunrise, Florida.

The household products company previously said the Better Health line was responsible for around 3% its fiscal 2024 sales. The transaction also is expected to reduce its fiscal Q1 earnings ending Sept. 30 by about $1 per share, representing a one-time $114 million to $134 million loss on the sale, after taxes.
