Closing in on 100% capacity, expanding by another 20%: Acrysil

“There has been a spike in demand. We are almost closing in on our 100 percent capacity and we are expanding by another 20 percent,” Chirag Parekh, Chairman and MD of Acrysil India, said in an interview to CNBC-TV18.

Acrysil is a leading manufacturer and supplier of kitchen sinks and kitchen basins.

The company is exporting about 70 percent of the products. “Around 80 percent of our products goes into renovation of homes. We have been seeing that for the last few months, the domestic market is getting back in shape. We have reached to our pre-COVID levels,” he added.

The utilisation level has increased from 70 percent in Q1 to more than 90 percent now, he said.

“We are targeting Rs 500 crore revenues in the next 4-5 years,” Parekh said.
