08:22 AM EDT, 05/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CloudMD Software & Services ( DOCRF ) , which offers telemedicine services and workplace health programs via the cloud, overnight Thursday reported a narrower first-quarter net loss reflecting cost savings across the business.

The net loss from continuing operations declined to $4.2 million, or $nil per share, compared with a loss of $6.5 million, or $nil per share, last year.

Revenue was constant at $23 million while the operating loss for the quarter fell $1.6 million to $4.1 million.

CloudMD said additional annualized cost reductions of $1.6 million took effect in the first quarter, with expected benefits to be realized in subsequent quarters.
