04:33 PM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Clover Health Investments ( CLOV ) said Monday it appointed Dr. Shelly Gupta as chief medical officer.

Gupta most recently served in a similar role at Humana (HUM), where he led regional Medicare Advantage plans and oversaw the launch of the Humana Healthy Horizons Medicaid plan.

At Clover, Gupta will be responsible for clinical operations related to the company's Medicare Advantage business.

Shares of Clover Health were up over 4% in Monday's after-hours session.
