04:58 AM EDT, 10/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CME Group ( CME ) said late Thursday its CBL Australian Carbon Credit Unit futures are now available for trading.

The futures, which allow for the delivery of Australian carbon credits, are subject to the rules of and listed by NYMEX.

Five contracts were traded between Freepoint Commodities and Mercuria on Oct. 14, the company said.
