CME Group Sets New Daily Volume Record With 67.1 Million Contracts

10:35 AM EST, 02/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CME Group ( CME ) said Wednesday it reached a single-day volume record of around 67.1 million contracts traded on Tuesday, surpassing its previous record of around 66.3 million contracts set in March 2023.

On the same day, the company also set daily volume records for interest rate futures and options at roughly 50.9 million contracts and US Treasury futures and options at around 40.7 million contracts, it said.

Shares of CME Group ( CME ) were down nearly 1% in recent trading.
