CME Group to Launch Spot-Quoted Futures, Pending Regulatory Approval

10:32 AM EDT, 04/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CME Group ( CME ) said Wednesday it plans to introduce Spot-Quoted futures on June 30, pending regulatory approval.

Investors will be able to trade bitcoin and ether futures, as well as futures based on the four major US equity indices, the company said.

The futures contracts can be held for up to five years without the need to roll positions, offering a convenient option for long-term traders, it added.
