CME to Roll Out Options on Bitcoin Friday Futures

12:20 PM EST, 01/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CME Group ( CME ) said Wednesday it will launch options on Bitcoin Friday futures on Feb. 24, subject to regulatory review.

The derivatives exchange operator said the contracts will be its first cryptocurrency options to be financially-settled, with expiries available every day of the business week.
