Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.78.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $1.74 billion, up from $1.67 billion a year earlier.

Four analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.85 billion.

CMS said it continues to expect 2024 adjusted EPS of $3.29 to $3.35. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are looking for $3.33.

The company also introduced 2025 adjusted EPS guidance of $3.52 to $3.58. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $3.58.
