01:53 PM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian National Railway ( CNI ) on Monday said it received the arbitrator's decision on the terms of its new collective agreement with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) with a new three-year agreement, effective from Jan. 1, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2026.
The agreement includes an annual wage increase of 3% and replaces the previous agreement. The company added that the agreement does not require ratification.
A statement noted: "Although CN remains disappointed that a negotiated agreement was not reached at the bargaining table, the company is pleased to be moving forward."
The TCRC represents about 6,000 of the company's conductors, conductor trainees, yard coordinators and locomotive engineers across CN's network in Canada.
Shares of the company were last seen down $2.13 to $135.24 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
