11:24 AM EDT, 06/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian National Railway ( CNI ) on Monday said it plans to invest US$60 million in Minnesota and approximately US$85 million in Michigan as part of its 2025 capital investment program.
The company said that the investments will support track maintenance and strategic infrastructure initiatives in the states.
CNR said the Michigan investment includes projects to build intermodal capacity and upgrades to improve operations at its Lansing, Battle Creek and Flint railyards.
The company's shares were last seen up $0.51 to $141.60 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
