11:28 AM EST, 02/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Walgreens Boots Alliance's ( WBA ) go-private talks with Sycamore Partners are "now alive," CNBC's David Faber said Tuesday, according to media reports.

In January, Faber said the talks were "mostly dead."

Walgreens' shares were more than 11% higher in recent trading.

Walgreens and Sycamore did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
